Lightness of Being…

Sr. Naima B. Robert has worked really hard to launch an online Sister’s Magazine. It is a subscription based medium that deals with issues affecting Muslim women ranging from personal, to communal, to global facets and experiences.

Here’s a description from their first editorial:

“It is this spirit of sisterhood that SISTERS aims to recreate and celebrate. As sisters, we teach, we learn, we laugh, we cry, we remember, we recite, we ask and we answer. SISTERS aims to do all this and more. It aims to inspire every woman to be the best she can be; the best wife, the best mother, the best friend, the best sister but, above all, the best Muslimah she can possibly be.”
